Black borders on images[edit]
If a cutscene does not originally have these black borders, please avoid creating talk pages just to ask for them to be removed. Use the {{Image-quality}} template for these types of requests. For example, {{image-quality|type=screenshot|Cutscene does not have black borders and they should be removed}}. This is because talk pages of files often aren't noticed by editors and using this template lets images be tagged in our maintenance system. I will be deleting the last couple pages you've made. — Lady Sophie_17

Image compression[edit]
Please be wary when compressing image files. Your recent uploads that compress files have introduced artifacts, such as the background of File:SM3DAS Luigi with his new found powers.jpg becoming blocky and File:Super Mario Sunshine Welcome Video Shine Sprite.png becoming dithered. Refer to this page for tools that compress files without sacrificing quality. - RHG1951 (talk) 17:37, August 15, 2026 (UTC)
