That means you go through the minigame not knowing which way to go, then go through it again if you get it wrong until you get it right, and as long as you know which paths were wrong, it's all on memorisation and not on luck. There is some luck involved at the start but calling it a "luck-based minigame" is a vague and inaccurate way of putting it, same with the other minigames you labelled. Italics

Hello, Christoffer Borgia! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros. If you are using a device that uses curly ("smart") punctuation, you may need to disable this function in your device's settings to be able to type out the correct apostrophes.

Luck-based minigames

Please stop marking minigames that aren't strictly based on luck as "luck-based". How minigames like Same is Lame and Lost and Pound are played when playing with others will differ for every player (and can involve mind games, like with Card Smarts) and is not completely locked to chance (e.g. Cut from the Team), and saying it's luck-based at the start of the article gives the impression of the latter.

The term "luck-based" also should be hyphenated (not written as "luck based"). Mario JC 07:26, January 16, 2026 (EST)
