Nurse Peach, also known as Nurse Toadstool in various western marketing materials from the 1990s, is Princess Peach's original persona in the Dr. Mario series. She serves the role of Dr. Mario's assistant in various supporting materials, but did not make any physical appearance in the games themselves.

Artwork of Dr. Peach from Dr. Mario World Dr. Peach Dr. Mario World Dr. Peach is Princess Peach's current persona in the Dr. Mario series, replacing Nurse Peach as of Dr. Mario World onwards. She decides to assume this role in order to help out her subjects, who have been infected by the Viruses. She is available as one of the doctors after beating stage 3, or by beating the special stage in World 14. She wears a soft-pink lab coat, unlike other characters who wear white coats, and white heels instead of her usual red. When activated, Dr. Peach's skill is represented by multiple silhouettes of her, and a pink beam of light appears and clears a random column on the board.[1] Columns with at least one virus are prioritized if one exists, followed by other column with at least one object otherwise. In stage mode, only one column is affected, but in versus, this skill hits one column at level 1, two columns at level 2 to 4 (the skill charges faster at higher levels), and three columns at level 5 (same charge speed as level 4).

Mecha Kuribō is a robot Goomba helper that appears in Super Mario Land manga adaptation in the Super Mario series from KC Deluxe. It was originally meant as a birthday present for Princess Daisy, but Princess Peach uses it to help Mario (and check on him to make sure he does not flirt with other girls) by climbing into it and following him. Mecha Kuribo cameos in later issues, but Peach is not inside of it during any of these appearances.

This persona appears in a 4-koma in which Yoshi explains how he feels alone at times. To make him feel better, Mario and Peach dress up as his parents (the father as a Green Yoshi with Mario's cap and mustache, and the mother as a Pink Yoshi with her hair and crown out). Yoshi thanks them for their attempt to cheer him up, but asks them to remove their costumes.
