Link is a power-up form introduced in version 2.0.0 of Super Mario Maker 2. It is obtained through the Master Sword power-up, making the character gain the appearance of Link as he appears in The Legend of Zelda, and abilities based on said appearance. The form is one block in height, and cannot break Brick Blocks. When damaged, the user returns to their Small form. When worn in multiplayer mode, Link's tunic is colored to match the character, appearing in red, green, blue, or pink for Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Toadette respectively. In singleplayer, Link appears in green when used by either Mario or Luigi.
Abilities
The Link form gives access to a very large set of moves. Pressing 
prompts a forwards strike with the Master Sword, which can defeat or damage most enemies and activate ? Blocks, Hidden Blocks, and ON/OFF Switches from the side.
