- “That layer was super deep, huh? I'm glad those little
eelings were there to guide us. Ya know, there's suppose to be a way, way, waaaay bigger eel digging around down here too. What do you think it looks like? A huge-ified eeling might be cute? I just hope it's as friendly as the rest of them.”
- —Pauline, Donkey Kong Bananza
The Great Harmoneel, or just the Harmoneel, is a giant underground eel in Donkey Kong Bananza, who is the father of the Li'l Eelevators and the husband[1] of the Eelevator. He is mind-controlled to serve Void Kong when it is forced to wear the Mind-Bender Mask. The Great Harmoneel appears at the end of the Radiance Layer, swallowing Pauline after she and Donkey Kong beat Grumpy Kong. During the Groove Layer, the Harmoneel is freed by Donkey Kong when he plays his favorite song, breaking the Mind-Bender Mask. After apologizing to the Kong, he lets Donkey Kong dive into his stomach to save Pauline.
During the post-game and after finishing the previous five Bananza Rehearsals, the Great Harmoneel hosts a live show at the Heart of Gold. Seeking ideas for a new song, Donkey Kong and Pauline jump into his windpipe, which serves as a final challenge in the game.
Before physically seeing the Harmoneel, statues made out of debris in the Landfill Layer depict the giant eel, and is mentioned in the sinkhole to the Racing Layer by Pauline.

Notes
- The Great Harmoneel acts like rubber if Donkey Kong jumps on him.
