This is a transcript for The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! episode "Mario Meets Koop-zilla."

Transcript

[The city of Sayonara is crowded with its denizens.]
Mario: [voiceover] Plumber's Log #22 - 38: The oriental city of Sayonara. [The scene fades in to Mario, Toad, and Princess Toadstool riding a cart that Luigi is pulling as the four arrive at Sayonara in search of what can help them defeat King Koopa known as Super Sushi.] Our valiant group had come in a search of a secret weapon that can help us fight King Koopa. It was called "Super Sushi."
Toad: What's so super about this Super Sushi?
Princess Toadstool: Whoever eats it doubles their size and strength!
Mario: Besides that, it makes great spaghetti sauce! [to Luigi] Faster! Faster!
Luigi: What's your hurry? Boy. When it comes to food, Mario's got a one-crack mind. [Sayonara erupts into chaos as the ground begins to shake] Holy ravioli! It's an earthshake!
[Luigi falls down as he loses control of the cart. Mario, Toad, and the Princess fall off the cart, with the foremost landing to safety and catching the lattermost, and it falls down as well. The denizens of Sayonara are heard panicking as they run willy-nilly, trying to escape the dangerous situation. Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad behold the approach.]
Toad: [points up in the sky] Look! It isn't an earthquake! [King Koopa cackles madly and approaches the four, now in an enormous size as he goes by the alter ego of Koop-zilla] It's Koop-zilla!
Mario, Luigi, and Princess Toadstool: Koop-zilla?!
Koop-zilla: [growls] Run, you tasty tempura tasters! I'm gonna squash this city flatter than a tofu pancake!
[Koop-zilla flattens one of Sayonara's buildings and laughs maniacally. He then gives chase in an attempt to smoosh Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, Toad, and the cart.]
Mario: Run for your life!
[Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad run away, causing Koop-zilla to only crush the cart during the chase.]
Luigi: Leapin' linguinni! How'd the Koopa get so big?
Mario: There's only one person who can tell us that: the scientist who invented Super Sushi! Come on!
[The scene fades to Dr. T. Garden's laboratory. The building has a satellite on it. Mario and the others pay Dr. T. Garden a visit.]
Princess Toadstool: It's an honor to meet one of the world's greatest scientists: Dr. T. Garden.
Dr. T. Garden: It's honor to meet two of the world's greatest plumbers!
[Mario and Dr. T. Garden bump each other's heads, only a little too hard.]
Mario: [feels the pain] Ouch! Sorry, doc!
Dr. T. Garden: [feels the pain as well] Ouch!
Princess Toadstool: Tell us, doctor! How can Koopa get to be so humongous?
Dr. T. Garden: Oh, that cursed Koopa! I'll show you. [pulls out his remote] We taped it on my laboratory's hidden camera! [Mario and the others sigh in relief. Dr. T. Garden pushes the button. The television screen shows Dr. T. Garden typing on his computer and managing to invent Super Sushi. Dr. T. Garden speaks on the television.] Oh! This is my most powerful Super Sushi yet! One taste and it's gargantua time! [someone on the television opens the door] Huh?
[It is revealed that King Koopa has managed to open the door on the television.]
King Koopa: I'll take that, you fish-fixin' fruitcake!
[King Koopa attempts to take the Super Sushi away, but Dr. T. Garden tries to protect it, only to be knocked down as Koopa takes it away from the doctor, laughs evilly, and eats it. The scene cuts to Toad in reality.]
Toad: Boy! I knew the Koopa was a dirty rotten villain, [the scene cuts to King Koopa continuing to eat the Super Sushi on the television] but I had no idea he was such a pig!
[King Koopa has managed to eat the Super Sushi all gone. He licks the plate and belches.]
Dr. T. Garden: [on the television] You crazy Koopa! [King Koopa throws the plate away] You ate all my Super Sushi! Now you grow too much!
King Koopa: That's the idea, chopsticks-for-brains! [begins to grow in a titanic size] Rampagin' reptiles! It's working!
[Cracks on the floor show up, and Dr. T. Garden gasps in terror. King Koopa has managed to become Koop-zilla as he growls twice and destroys the doctor's laboratory.]
Koop-zilla: Now I'll be the most terrible tyrant to ever trample a town! Koop-zilla!
[Koop-zilla uses his foot to crush a parked car and laughs madly. He lifts up a tall building, and it was revealed that the situation was on Dr. T. Garden's television as the doctor uses the remote to turn it off.]
Dr. T. Garden: It's my fault Koop-zilla is destroying Sayonara.
Princess Toadstool: Mario! We can't let Koop-zilla ruin this city! We have to do something!
[The scene cuts to the streets. Sayonara is now a disaster area. "The Jolly Green Giant" plays over the scene of rampant destruction. More denizens of Sayonara run willy-nilly, trying to escape Koop-zilla's rampage. Koop-zilla grabs another parked car and tries to eat it, only to be shot by missiles fired by fighter jets, which he manages to survive. The fighter jets fire missiles once more in an attempt to shoot Koop-zilla, only for them to miss.]
Koop-zilla: Scram, pests, or I'll call an exterminator! [The jets shoot the missiles one more time, only to be destroyed by Koop-zilla, who growls twice again. The jet pilots use their parachutes to escape the jets that later explode. Koop-zilla is then shot repeatedly by an army of tanks that approaches him, only to survive as he blows the tanks away, causing them to explode. "The Jolly Green Giant" quits playing.] Boy! Destroying a city isn't all just fun and games—it's hard work!
[Luigi is driving on a moped attached to a sidecar that Mario is on.]
Luigi: I just hope this crazy plan of yours works!
Mario: My crazy plans always work! All we gotta do is find Koop-zilla! [the Mario Bros. hear Koop-zilla growl and Mario looks away and points at him] That's probably him now!
[Luigi looks away. Koop-zilla grabs a water tower, and he has been revealed to have grabbed a radio tower. Koop-zilla the drinks the water from the water tower.]
Koop-zilla: All this bashing and crashing really works up an appetite!
[Koop-zilla eats up the radio tower. The Mario Bros. approach him as the moped parks near his feet. Mario pulls out a bullhorn.]
Mario: [speaking through the bullhorn] Hey, Koop-zilla, you gigantic green good-for-nothing goofball!
Koop-zilla: Well, if it isn't two little clogs who climbed outta the sewer!
Mario: [speaking through the bullhorn] We're warning you to leave right now, before we get mad and flush you down the drain!
Koop-zilla: I don't take lip like that from insects!
[Luigi yelps as Koop-zilla uses his foot to crush the Mario Bros., but the former starts the moped and floors it, causing the latter's attempt to fail, and a chase ensues.]
Mario: It worked, Luigi! [looks at Koop-zilla] Koop-zilla's chasin' us!
Luigi: How lucky can we get?
Mario: Here he comes! Luigi, step on it!
[King Koopa tries to use his foot to crush the Mario Bros., but the moped starts drifting left and right repeatedly. The scene cuts to a street where a massive, metallic net is set up between two buildings by Toad and Princess Toadstool.]
Toad: There! Our titanic Koop-zilla trap is in place!
Princess Toadstool: And not a sec too soon! [points at Koop-zilla] Look!
[Koop-zilla keeps chasing the Mario Bros, who are still riding on the moped.]
Koop-zilla: I'll get you yet, you little lasagna-lovers!
Mario: Now we got Koop-zilla right where we want him! [Luigi brakes his moped and parks it. Mario yells at Toad and Princess Toadstool.] Toad! Princess! Now! Let the net go!
[Toad and the princess pull the lever to release the net, rendering Koop-zilla trapped as he growls in humiliation repeatedly.]
Mario and Luigi: We did it!
[Koop-zilla growls in humiliation two more times, trying to escape the net.]
Koop-zilla: Just wait till I get my mitts on you midgets!
Mario: [jumps out of the sidecar] That net's made of solid steel, Koop-zilla! You'll never get out!
Koop-zilla: Wanna bet, you faucet-fixin' featherhead?
[Koop-zilla sets himself free from the net, much to Princess Toadstool and Toad's terror.]
Princess Toadstool: Look out! Koop-zilla's escaped!
Toad: Let's make like a drummer and beat it!
[The Princess Toadstool and Toad wander off. The scene cuts to the Mario Bros. and Koop-zilla, with the latter ready to use his foot to crush the former.]
Koop-zilla: I got you now, you pint-sized pasta-eaters!
[Mario moves further away from Koop-zilla.]
Luigi: I thought you said your plan always worked!
[Mario hops back on the moped's sidecar. Koop-zilla attempts to use his foot to crush the Mario Bros., only to fail as Luigi floors the moped, and another chase ensues.]
Mario: Just save your breath, Luigi, [Luigi drifts the moped left and right] and run for your life!
[The scene fades to black. The scene fades to Koop-zilla continuing to chase the Mario Bros., with Luigi driving the moped and Mario riding on its sidecar. Luigi floors the moped again, causing Koop-zilla's attempt to crush the Mario Bros. to fail.]
Koop-zilla: Stand still so I can squash you, ya little vermin!
Luigi: How are we ever gonna get out of this one?
Mario: [points forward] By going down the drain! [Princess Toadstool and Toad are seen looking out of a manhole to a sewer, begging the Mario Bros.] Look!
Toad: Come on! [enters the sewer] Faster!
Princess Toadstool: Mario! [enters the sewer as well] Luigi! Hurry!
[Luigi parks the moped close to the manhole.]
Mario: Last one in is a rotten eggplant!
[The Mario Bros. enter the manhole, with Luigi following Mario. Koop-zilla uses his foot to crush only the moped by mistake and sticks his hand into the manhole.]
Koop-zilla: You won't escape that easy, you sewer-swimming slimeballs!
[The scene cuts to the Mario Bros., Princess Toadstool, and Toad in the sewers, with Koop-zilla attempting to grab one of them.]
Luigi: We're stuck here like hairballs in a drainpipe!
Mario: Then I'll unstick us!
[Mario grabs a pipe and grunts as he tries to pull it out of the wall, only for Koop-zilla to perform his attempt to grab Mario.]
Luigi: Watch out, Mario!
[Mario dodges Koop-zilla's hand, only to fall down after he pulling the pipe. It is now broken, being sharp and pointy.]
Mario: [using the broken pipe] By sticking Koopa!
[Koop-zilla tries to grab Mario, but the broken pipe that the latter uses splinters the former's finger, launching him upward.]
Koop-zilla: OUCH!!! [Koop-zilla's finger is now red and swollen. He tries to heal it by blowing on it repeatedly, but he falls down, causing him to scream in horror. He crashes onto somewhere else, causing a red cloud of smoke to appear. A furious Koop-zilla pops his head out of a hole shaped after him and scoffs.] You'll pay for that, you mozzarella morons! But first, I'm gonna crush this city into Koopa Krumbs!
[Koop-zilla heads back to destroying Sayonara, and the Mario Bros., Princess Toadstool, and Toad pop out of the manhole and behold him ignoring them.]
Princess Toadstool: We better do something fast, or you can say "goodbye" to Sayonara!
[The scene fades to Dr. T. Garden's laboratory. Dr. T. Garden has managed to invent another serving of Super Sushi.]
Dr. T. Garden: Ooh! [grabs the plate of Super Sushi] My latest batch of Super Sushi is now ready!
[Mario is wearing a green bib with purple polka-dots, now ready to eat the serving of Super Sushi.]
Mario: Then serve the supper! [Luigi heads off to get the plate of Super Sushi from Dr. T. Garden] I've gotta grow as big as Koop-zilla, so I can clean his pipes! And beside that, I'm hungry! [Luigi and Toad the plate of Super Sushi and a bowl of spaghetti to Mario, respectively] I'll have my Super Sushi, [dumps his Super Sushi into his spaghetti] with a super serving of spaghetti!
[Dr. T. Garden, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad gasp as they witness Mario eating the spaghetti mixed with the Super Sushi.]
Luigi: That's my brother, the pasta-pulverizing plumber!
[Mario has managed to eat his spaghetti mixed with his Super Sushi all gone.]
Mario: Mmmm! Good!
[Mario begins to grow, and his bib gets torn off. Princess Toadstool is shocked now.]
Princess Toadstool: Look! It's working!
[Mario keeps growing into an enormous size, and cracks on the ceiling appear.]
Dr. T. Garden: Oh, not again! [escapes with Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad as cracks on the wall also appear] I just had that ceiling fixed!
[Mario has managed to grow into an enormous size, becoming Giant Mario.]
Giant Mario: Now it's Koopa clobbering time!
[Giant Mario sets off in search of Koop-zilla as he has managed to destroy Dr. T. Garden's laboratory. The scene transitions to a building that Koop-zilla splits in half.]
Koop-zilla: I haven't had this bigger blast since I set that fire in the dynamite factory!
[Koop-zilla chuckles mischievously, but Giant Mario jumps onto the place where a battle is about to begin.]
Giant Mario: That's enough, you revolting reptile!
Koop-zilla: Cursed crocodiles! It's that parmesan plumber, and he's as big as me!
Giant Mario: That's right, Koop-zilla! And I'm ready for Koopa combat! [Giant Mario and Koop-zilla begin to fight by pushing each other and grunting] Tell me! How'd you ever get so creepy, crummy, and crabby?
Koop-zilla: Years of practice!
[Giant Mario tosses Koop-zilla, and the latter screams and crashes onto a building, destroying it. Giant Mario grabs Koop-zilla's tail, swings it around, and throws him onto a group of buildings, destroying them. Giant Mario approaches Koop-zilla.]
Giant Mario: That oughta teach you to mess with Mario!
Koop-zilla: Is that so? Well, just remember: [grabs a piece of rubble] He who Koops last, Koops best! [Koop-zilla attempts to throw the rubble at Giant Mario, but the latter dodges the former's attack, causing a red cloud of smoke to be released behind him. Koop-zilla grabs a pair of telephone poles and prepares to use them as weapons.] I'm sendin' you back to Lasagna Land!
Giant Mario: Easier said than done, lizard-lips! [grabs a train and uses it as a weapon] Hiyyyyyya! [Giant Mario and Koop-zilla fight each other with the train and the telephone pokes respectively] As we say in Brooklyn, BONSAI!!!
[Giant Mario uses the train to lash onto Koop-zilla, only for the latter to use his telephone poles to block the former's attack.]
Koop-zilla: Nice try, bilge-brains!
[The scene cuts to Dr. T. Garden's laboratory, finally rebuilt shoddily. Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad look out the window to see Giant Mario and Koop-zilla fighting each other from far away, only to find Sayonara is going to be in tatters.]
Toad: Mario may save the city, but there'll be no city left!
Dr. T. Garden: [offscreen] Terrific teriyaki! I've done it!
Princess Toadstool: Done what?
Dr. T. Garden: Oh! [Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad approach the doctor] I've created the antidote for Super Sushi!
Luigi: Great garlic! Now we can shrink that Koopy-Koop-zilla back down to size!
[The scene cuts to the place where Giant Mario and Koop-zilla continue fighting, with the latter managing to grab the former, spin him around, and toss him onto a mattress factory, destroying it.]
Giant Mario: Lucky for me, that mattress factory broke my fall!
[Giant Mario and Koop-zilla find themselves on top of a building, ready to fight here. Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad approach the battle, with the foremost and the lattermost both carrying a large needle full of Super Sushi Shrinker.]
Toad: This is the second biggest hypodermic needle I've ever seen!
Luigi: What was the biggest?
Toad: My last flu shot!
Princess Toadstool: Get ready! When Koop-zilla's closer, we'll give him an injection of Super Sushi Shrinker!
[Koop-zilla is revealed to have grabbed a billboard advertising and can of energy drink.]
Koop-zilla: Chew on this, pizza-puss!
[Koop-zilla throws the billboard at Giant Mario, but the latter jumps over it to dodge the former's attack, causing it to crash into the city hall, and he approaches Koopa.]
Giant Mario: Koop-zilla, I'm gonna pull the rug out from under you!
[Giant Mario uses the rug to launch Koop-zilla away, causing the latter to scream and fall, resulting in cracks on the ground appearing.]
Koop-zilla: You'll pay for that, you miserable mechanic of muck!
[Luigi and Toad are about to inject Koop-zilla.]
Toad: Let's make like a cactus and stick him!
[Luigi manages to use the needle of Super Sushi Shrinker to inject Koop-zilla, leading the latter being launched upward before falling down, to the point when he thinks that Sayonara is growing into a bigger state.] Hey! The city's getting bigger! [As if Sayonara starts getting bigger, Koop-zilla begins to shrink.] No! I'm shrinking!
[Koop-zilla has managed to turn back into King Koopa himself. Giant Mario approaches Koopa.]
King Koopa: You two-bit tortellini taster! You've foiled my plans again!
Giant Mario: That's right, Koopa! You're all Kooped out!
King Koopa: Then, [pulls out a Magical Potion] as the old saying goes, he who Koops and runs away lives to Koop another day!
[King Koopa throws the Magical Potion on the ground, causing a portal to a Warp Zone to show up.]
Princess Toadstool: Look! He's escaping into a Warp Zone!
[Luigi, Toad, and the Princess run to the portal to the Warp Zone, only for King Koopa to leap into it.]
Luigi: Miserable macaroni! The Koopa's got away again!
Princess Toadstool: Yes, but Sayonara's seen the last of him and his Koopa-crazy conquest.
[The scene fades to Dr. T. Garden's shoddily rebuilt laboratory.]
Dr. T. Garden: Thank you for saving Sayonara from that gigantic green greaseball!
Princess Toadstool: It was our pleasure!
Mario: All that Koopa clobbering's made me hungry! [opens up a jar and smells what is in it] Mmmmm! What's this?
[Mario pulls a tablet of Shrinking Sukiyaki out of the jar and accidentally eats it.]
Dr. T. Garden: No, no, no! Don't eat that! That is my latest invention: Shrinking Sukiyaki!
[Mario accidentally swallows the Shrinking Sukiyaki and shrinks into a smaller size. Luigi approaches the micro-sized Mario.]
Luigi: Sufferin' spaghetti! Mario's no bigger than a mini meatball!
[The micro-sized Mario walks onto Luigi's hand.]
Mario: [in a slightly higher-pitched voice] Quick! Give me the antidote!
Dr. T. Garden: Oooh! Well, there IS no antidote. You must wait one week for it to wear off.
Mario: [gasps in a slightly higher-pitched voice before speaking in that pitched voice] Well, maybe now I can finally eat my fill of pasta!
[Luigi, Princess Toadstool, Toad, and Dr. T. Garden start laughing, and the scene fades to the outside of Dr. T. Garden's laboratory. The scene fades to black, and the episode continues.]
