Hello there, 'Shroom readers! I hope you've been able to keep cool lately, it's a hot one out there! For those of you who are currently unable to step outside without melting, how about staying in and reading our July issue, hot off the presses?
Not much to announce on the paper side of things, it's been pretty business as usual here! For the time being, most of our surplus energy around here is going towards Awards, which is coming in hot! Okay, I'll stop with the heat-related puns already. The Awards Ceremony will be held over on the forums on August 14th. We hope you'll be able to join us, it's always a fun time!
Speaking of Awards, if you haven't yet, be sure to check out the ongoing All-Time Favorite Character Bracket! It's a little bonus we're doing this year to celebrate the 20th Mario Awards. As of this issue going up, voting has progressed to the third round, and we're getting down to the heavy hitters now! Personally, I'm hoping for a Waluigi sweep.

I know it's Summer, but my goodness it's way too hot outside! Hopefully you're in a cool room as you read this month's issue of The 'Shroom!
So... how did y'all like DELTARUNE chapter 5? I thought it was fun, but now comes the wait for the final two chapters. I've also been playing a lot of Super Mario Party Jamboree after not having touched it in over a year. I'm so glad playable Ninji is a thing! I've yet to check out the Nintendo Switch 2-exclusive stuff, but I'm pretty sure that'll be great when I get to it.
As always, we've got several guest sections to check out!

- After years of not having played this game myself, I decided to write a review of the underrated Poképark 2: Wonders Beyond after having recently played through it! Surely it's amazing simply because it features the Unova starters as main characters, right? Maybe...
- The hot Summer Sun is so relevant I needed to write a section about it. The section in question is a Strategy Wing one named Here comes the Sun! This is a detailed overview of Kingdom Rush Alliance's newest hero, Aurion the Sun Dragon, where I talk about how to use each of his abilities most effectively! Bring a cold beverage to so you don't pass out from the heat!
