Mario And Luigi: Brothership Custom Instruction Manual

Written by: ScaryStar

Since August 1st, I have been hard at work on making a custom instruction manual for Mario And Luigi: Brothership that I want everyone to enjoy. Please give me a review on it of what you think! The manual is intentionally made to resemble a cute little booklet that a little kid would make in the arts and crafts class in preschool or kindergarten (and with some adult supervision help from his/her/their teacher), and to also invoke the humorous charm of the Mario And Luigi Games and nostalgia of old Instruction Booklets! In this context, it is meant to be a wholesome homemade instruction booklet that the Mario & Luigi character Connie made for the players to read, considering that she is a cute little Concordian girl!

I have three Google Drive options for all you people out there to make things easy for you!

Option A: Individual Manual Pages (Grid Layout View Recommended)

This option has Mario And Luigi Brothership Custom Colored Instruction Booklet Pages in a Google Drive folder. It is recommended to use a Grid Layout to have a visual of everything beforehand. You can find that here!

Option B: HD Manual PDF

This option provides you a viewable PDF that you can download straight away as-is! You can access it here!

Option C: Printable Manual PDF And Assembly Instructions

This option provides a pre-formatted PDF straight for printing! You can then cut it out, fold it, and put together to make a little booklet perfect for your Nintendo Switch case! I have provided several different sizes for you to work with. You can obtain see these different options here!

How To Create Your Manual Copy

  • Step 1: Open the Mario And Luigi: Brothership Custom Instruction Booklet Printable PDF file in the "Preview" on the Google Drive.
  • Step 2: Select "Print".
  • Step 3: Make sure your printer is under these settings:
    • Print in color: ON
    • Double-sided: ON
    • Paper Size: US Letter (8.50 by 11.00 inches)
    • Orientation: Portrait
    • Auto Rotate: OFF
    • Show Notes: OFF
    • Scale: 100% (Leave it as is; this is to ensure that the end result fits in the game's case's manual slot perfectly)
    • Quality: Best (under Media & Quality)
  • Step 4: Print the manual pages as they are.
  • Step 5: Using a paper cutting board (or scissors), carefully cut off the surrounding white from the grey borders of the manual pages (the borders serve as guidelines).
  • Step 6: Carefully fold the booklet pages (the middle grey borders serve as folding guidelines).
  • Step 7: Place the folded pages in the correct order (Front Cover/Back Cover, Page 1/Page 62, 2/61, 3/60, etc.), so that the end result looks like a proper booklet with the page numbers correctly labeled from 1 to 62.
  • Step 8: Using a stapler, carefully staple the middle grey border in-between the front and back covers of the manual.
  • Step 9: Place the custom Mario and Luigi: Brothership game case and you are good to go!

Note: For obvious reasons, I stongly advise using a high-quality printer paper that is suitable for instruction manual creation and making of your Mario And Luigi: Brothership Instruction Manual copy! Also, be sure not to have the colors bleed or smear, and make sure your printer can seamlessly perform double-sided paper tasks perfectly before doing this! Be careful, and use adult supervision if needed! Depending on your printer, the PDF with the upside-down even pages may be necessary! The big, unshrunk versions serve as references to the printable manuals in question!

If anyone would like to review this or even help support this and spread the word, be my guest! I'd appreciate all the help and reviews I can get! Regardless, I hope you all love what I have crafted and I wish you all the best of luck in playing Mario And Luigi: Brothership all the same!

Thank you!

P.S. Oh, and about Connie with cat ears (underneath her helmet) and an electric plug cat tail: I am a fan of Chibi-Robo and Nyanko Days and this is meant to be a nod to these wonderfully adorable works! Plus, Connie would look even more adorable than she already is if she had them!
