Still a Snifaro[edit]

When the sarcophagus is beaten, the Snifit that stays in battle is still called a Snifaro, so there shouldn't be a separate Snifit article for Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. LinkTheLefty (talk) 21:25, 17 August 2017 (EDT)

They're two halves of the same coin. Especially considering the dried forms of Bubble Bloopers aren't split (and those are even separately named!), this is rather simple. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 21:26, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
Good example. Think it's clear-cut? If no one's going to object to moving the information over to the Snifaro article, we could just forgo a proposal. LinkTheLefty (talk) 21:50, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
I mean, considering that this article's essentially for something that doesn't exist, I don't see why a proposal would be necessary. Niiue (talk) 21:51, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
Well, alternatively, we could go with calling them Snifaro (sarcophagus) and Snifaro (Snifit), but yes, they're intertwined as different forms of the same thing. LinkTheLefty (talk) 21:55, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
It's not as if it's unheard of to give a separate article to an alternate form of a subject (see: Mr. L, Rookie, all of the vibe-infused Super Princess Peach enemies), but in this case, without an official distinction between the two forms, they're better off in the same article. Unrelated side note: I actually wouldn't mind splitting Bubble Blooper and Dried Blooper. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 21:58, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
Yeah, Bubble Blooper and Dried Blooper really should be separate articles. Niiue (talk) 22:01, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
Since it seems we're all on board with it and there's nothing really for it otherwise, I'll go ahead with the changes. By the way, I wouldn't mind a Bubble Blooper / Dried Blooper split, either. LinkTheLefty (talk) 22:25, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
The original proposal for merging the two cited the fact that they have the same stats (not counting speed, which they didn't mention) and that they are just enemies (which is an arbitrary line in the sand; if they deserve separate articles, it shouldn't matter what they are). Meanwhile, Bubble Blooper and Dried Blooper have wildly different appearances, outright different behaviour, and different names in all languages. I'm all for splitting them. For now, though, let's merge the Snifaros together. Hello, I'm Time Turner. 22:27, 17 August 2017 (EDT)
