Talk:List of Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam gear

The starting wear for the Bros. and Paper Mario gives a +2 in DEF in my PAL region game, but this article lists them as having +3. Is this actually a regional difference or just a typo? --DarkStar (talk) 08:02, 2 January 2016 (EST)

As I only own the german translation of the game, most of the gear has a different name. I just roughly translated them and used Dream Team's names so I could fill in the stats. Feel free to replace the names with the real ones if the stats correspond. --Definitely not Sascha

Availability of Expert Challenges Shop Items

So, I didn't see this mentioned below, but from what I can tell, you get different items in the points shop based on what sidequests, story aspects and challenges you've completed. So for instance, certain gear only appears once you've beaten the Battle Medley in the Battle Ring. Other gear seems to be appear when you get to different parts of the main story, or certain Toad missions have been cleared.

Does anyone know when these points are? Cause I know beating the Battle Medley got me a different selection of items in the shops. I know the Duplex Crown only appears once every other challenge in the game has been beaten. But there have to many more points in the story where new sets of gear become available to buy with these points...

POW Gloves forever missable?

Are the POW Gloves forever missable because those lvl 11 Cheep Cheeps don't spawn when you reach a certain point in the game and only lvl 20 Cheep Cheeps spawn at this point in the game?

Found it out myself. You can still battle those lvl 11 Cheep Cheeps and get some POW Gloves in the Toad rescue mission Tropical Paper Toad Hunt
