This was going to say "I don't think the Fury Sun is an object distinct from Fury Bowser. I think it is the slumbering form of Fury Bowser." But as hit happens, the same sites that provide the Fury Sun name say "Once he emerges from the Fury Sun, he'll summon meteors from the sky and fire devasting fiery beams at you - so take cover!" [1] [2]. I'm putting this here so that other users don't make the same mistake I did by reading the animation for Fury Bowser awakening as him "uncurling from the Fury Sun" when it is officially "emerges from".
