Move to "dream portal"[edit]
The current article name is Dream Portal, with the term in title case. In-game, dream portal is never written in title case, so the article should be moved. Here are some quotes from Dreambert when the Dreambeats makes the dream portal at Dreamy Mount Pajamaja close (wow "dream" got said a lot in that sentence):
The... The dream portal! It disappeared!
Luigi's sleep became so profound that the dream portal ceased to be.
And here is a quote from Antasma before the final battle with him at Neo Bowser Castle:
I can open dream portals venever I vish now... For that is vut I vished from the Dream Stone...
Mainly including these quotes to show that I'm not making this up. --Spencer PK (talk) 09:55, June 11, 2026 (UTC)
- Even if it is referred to with lower case in game, it would not make sense for an article title to be in all lower case if we are following North American English standards for grammar and presentation. For example, it would not make sense for the title of the article for Ray surfing to be ray surfing despite that being what it is sometimes referred to in quotes. Moving it to Dream portal instead of Dream Portal could make sense. TheKoopaGuy (talk) 10:19, June 11, 2026 (UTC)
- I understand that the first letter of article names are automatically capitalized as part of the wiki. I just wrote the proposed new article name in lowercase to communicate that the term has no capitalized letters. It would still have the first letter capitalized if a sentence opens with it. This is not something like amiibo which is actually always written in all lowercase. Sorry for the confusion. --Spencer PK (talk) 10:27, June 11, 2026 (UTC)
