Implied[edit]

Shouldn't this be considered an implied item because it is never seen anywhere in the game. Sprite of Black Ninjakoopa, from Paper Mario. Sprite of Red Ninjakoopa, from Paper Mario. The RPG Gamer (talk) (edits) 20:19, 27 June 2016 (EDT)

Unlike most other implied items, this one has artwork, a story, and a purpose. Just because it's not seen doesn't mean it's "implied to exist." It just simply isn't shown to the player. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 20:31, 27 June 2016 (EDT)
The problem statement is "The Dark Stone is never really seen in the game"; it's considered poor writing because it's informal, but more importantly, vague and wishy-washy. Can anyone at least rewrite this part to be more precise in what "never really seen" is supposed to mean? If writing isn't your strong suit, is it actually ever seen in game? We need a definite statement. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 19:00, 28 June 2016 (EDT)
I changed it to "Since the Dark Stone was destroyed before the events of the game, this magical object is never shown to the player". Cobalt David (talk) 17:54, July 31, 2021 (EDT)
