"Cargo Truck" title[edit]

It's a somewhat misleading title due to the pickup trucks in Wuhu Loop, as they A) don't carry anything and B) the term "Cargo Truck" in general is typically reserved for Semi Trucks and Moving Trucks. Pickup Trucks are really only related as a colloquial term. As for "Small vehicle with surfboard," it at least carries cargo, but is still a pickup, so I'm iffy about its inclusion here. The glider panel trucks are fine to be listed as a subtype of this, as they appear to be car haulers of some sort. Anyways, I know the title's official, my issue is the scope it's being used for here. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 18:26, 4 December 2017 (EST)

Well, the other two kinds of trucks of N64 Toad's Turnpike in Mario Kart 8 are indeed stated to be different from the cargo trucks and already have a link to their future page, while the pickup trucks from Mario Kart 7 might deserve some discussion, the PRIMA eguide says this on the section about the road hazards of Wuhu Loop:

Vehicles: Keep your distance from slow-moving cars and trucks; your kart is no match for these full-sized vehicles!

So they are indeed trucks, but not confirmed to be the usual cargo trucks. I'd wait for the preliminary work on this page to be completed before discussing, though.--Mister Wu (talk) 21:57, 4 December 2017 (EST)
I didn't say they weren't trucks, it's just that "truck" is a generic term used to describe completely unrelated vehicles, as "Cargo" Trucks and Pickup Trucks are completely different. My problem was the article listed "small vehicle with surfboard" as a type of Cargo Truck, which it isn't. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 22:04, 4 December 2017 (EST)
