Pixel codes are items appearing in Cartoon Network's NES Classics microsite. They function similarly to KONG Letters, and are required to enter a contest to win up to eight Classic NES Series games and a Nintendo Entertainment System-themed Game Boy Advance SP.

Details[edit]

Four total pixel codes are available within the game, which spell out "KONG". The first code the player can collect (the "N") is on the game's first screen, directly above the cage holding Donkey Kong. Two more codes (the "K" and the "O") are on the leftmost screen. The "K" is in the middle of a series of singular blocks on the middle path (which can be accessed by walking onto the screen from the platform holding Donkey Kong's cage), and the "O" is on a grassy platform after the singular block path (which can be reached by walking onto the screen from the platform directly above Donkey Kong's cage). The final code (the "G") is on a girder that can be reached by climbing a series of singular blocks that gradually increase in height. (The girder that the player must be standing on in order to climb the blocks can be accessed by by walking onto the rightmost screen from the platform that R.O.B. is standing on.)
