Lyrics[edit]

Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, too,
Little Toad makes up the team that knows just what to do—
Mario, he's our man. All 'round skill and speed,
But Luigi's who we call when high jump's what we need.

Little Toad, takes a load, never slows him down,
Grabs those coins and makes us rich, he's great to have around―
Princess[sic] has special skills, she is glad to share,
If we need to jump real far or hover in mid-air.

Birdo, Spark, Mouser, too; Pokey and Shyguy.
They all work for evil Wart and chase us day and night―
Porcupo and Cobrat, Tryclyde's really rough;
Get those mushrooms in Sub-space so we'll be strong enough.

If we go down a jar, wonder what we'll see?
It might be a 1-up or some potion or a key
Grab that key, run real fast, Phanto's on his way,
Got to beat him to the door or he will make us pay.

Climb and dig, jump and throw, veggies of all sorts,
Got to stop the Dream Machine that's run by evil Wart―
More hot stuff, really tough, fun just never ends,
When we get together now with Mario and friends!
