The Koopa-sama to Kekkon Suru ki ni Natchau Yubiwa is a cursed ring passed down by the Turtle Tribe that appears in Super Mario Kart 2 of the Super Mario Kodansha manga.

Taking advantage of a moment in which Princess Peach is furious at Mario, Bowser propose to her, offering a giant diamond ring, which leaves her mesmerized. When Mario arrives, Bowser reveals that the ring is cursed and the wearer will fall in love with him to the point of marry him, and to add insult to injury, the ring cannot be removed once wore. Shocked, Peach reveals that she did not wear the ring yet, blowing Bowser's plan. In trying to force it onto Peach's finger, Bowser drops it in a crevice between a Thwomp and a wall, but Mario accidentally retrieves it while passing through there. Bowser demands the ring back, but Mario throws it away, right in Birdo's finger, causing her to cling onto Bowser, while Mario rescues Peach.
