Greater location Super Famicom Shima

Controller Shima is a small island that appears at the beginning of Super Mario Bros. 4: Super Mario World 1. It is shaped like a Super Nintendo Entertainment System controller, with small hills shaped like a D-pad and the buttons. The bridge and the path of Super Famicom Shima leading to it, are shaped like the wire.

While protecting Yoshi from some Koopa Troopas, Luigi suggest Mario and Princess Peach to run to Controller Island. When the Koopas follow them, Yoshi shakes the wooden bridge, making the turtle falls in the sea. The Koopas climb the cliff, but one of them is eaten and spit by Yoshi against his companions. After that, Peach is kidnapped by the Super Koopas and taken to Dinosaur Land, and the brothers and their new friend go to rescue her.
