Shy Guy
Shy Guys are creatures that wear robes and masks.
Among being a common enemy throughout the Mario games, Shy Guys also sport appearances in Mario Kart DS as a playable character in Nintendo Download Play, and a tournament host in some of the Mario Party games. Shy Guys are playable characters in both Mario Tennis (in the N64 version, they must be unlocked) and Mario Power Tennis. Fly Guy is also an unlockable character in Mario Power Tennis.
Shy Guys are one of Mario's most persistant foes and have been in dozens of his games, each time working for the main bad guy(s). Nobody knows whats behind a Shy Guy's mask. A Shy Guy's main weapon is it's slingshot althougt they've been known to create a ton of weapons from submarines to bombs.
White Shy Guys are friends of Yoshis, while Black Shy Guys are known for having sinister ways of extermination, such as explosions and anvils.

- Baseball Boys: Cousins of the Zeus Guy, they come in two baseball-themed types, Catcher and Pitcher.
- Boo Guy: Little spectral white Shy Guys.
- Fat Guy: Obese Shy Guys that run faster after being attacked.
- Sky Guy: A Shy Guy riding balloons, or otherwise propeller driven.
- Groove Guy: A Shy Guy jester that is well versed in dance.
- Mace Guy: A Shy Guy swinging a mace
- Medi Guy: Emergency worker Shy Guys that can heal allies.
- Melon Guy: Taller thinner Shy Guys that spit out seeds when hopped on.
- Mock Up: An inflating baloon that will pop if not hit with an egg. A Fly Guy will fly out if it pops
- Mufti Guy: Shy Guy's hiding in flowers
- Pyro Guys (also known as Flamer Guy): A Shy Guy with flames all over its body.
- Shyster: Mechanical Shy Guys created by Smithy that ride pogo sticks.
- Spear Guy: A more "natural" Shy Guy that wears a grass skirt and wields a spear.
- Spy Guy: A Shy Guy that uses camouflage to hide.

- Zeus Guy: A humanoid Shy Guy with a karate outfit (also fires lightning). Near invulnerable.
