A Cyclops is an one-eyed enemy found in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They are pretty much the Goomba of the Pumpkin Zone, although they move at quicker speeds and have different attack patterns. If one spots Mario, they will charge at him full speed. Cyclops can be defeated simply by jumping on their heads or shooting a fireball at them.
Trivia
- The Cyclops, along with many other enemies in the Pumpkin Zone, are from Japanese folklore. The Cyclops comes from Hitotsume Kozoo (one-eyed boys), troublesome boys that often appear in Japanese folklore.
