Flopsy Fish

Template:Species-infobox Flopsy Fish[1] are a species of Cheep Cheep which appear in the games Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi Touch & Go, Yoshi's Island DS, and Yoshi's New Island. These particular enemies are seen either jumping out of water on regular intervals, or simply swimming within bodies of water. A more aggressive variety of Flopsy Fish is seen repeatedly jumping out of the water with its mouth open. They cannot be turned into eggs if Yoshi eats them. The level Lake Shore Paradise has one of them as a map screen icon. In Yoshi Touch & Go, a blue, spiky variety is seen. In Yoshi's New Island, the Flopsy Fish strongly resemble Cheep Cheeps (as seen in the main Mario series), more so than in previous Yoshi games. A green variety of Flopsy Fish which resemble Deep Cheeps also appear in the Submarine segments.
