History

WarioWare series

WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania

First of all, Jimmy T. could be seen in the intro of WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania, where he was called by Wario to join his "company" WarioWare, Inc. and to produce microgames for his upcoming game. Like Wario's other friends in Diamond City, Jimmy agreed.

In his own story, Jimmy went once again to Club Sugar. There he danced to disco music and also took his cell phone out when it rang. When the show was over, Jimmy left the club and walked past other people. He used his cell phone again and listened to another ring tone, this time the barking of a dog.

Jimmy also made a short appearance in the ending story of the game, where Wario represented his employees in the WarioWare headquarters that they wouldn't get anything of the money he earned with the game he and his friends made and then he escaped. Jimmy was shocked, but like the other employees except for Mona, he didn't chase after Wario.

Jimmy T. is featured in three unlockable mini-games in WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania. A tiny Jimmy appears in a two-player mini-game called VS Chiritorie. Sometimes he wanders over the screen and holds up the vacuum cleaner that touches him and withdraws already sucked in paper wads. In the mini-game taken from Mario Paint, Fly Swatter, the red Koopa Troopa appearing in the congratulations sequence has been replaced by Jimmy. The mini-game Paper Plane features him as the very first character looking through a window and telling the current flight time.

WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!

Scene from the movie "Groovy Love Thang": Jimmy T. has to decide between his girlfriend and dancing.
Jimmy's girlfriend gives him the choice.

In WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!, it was revealed that he had a girlfriend who dumped him because she thought that he enjoyed dancing more than spending time with her. In Club Sugar, she asked him if he liked her or dancing more. But shortly after that, Jimmy started to dance and so the woman said goodbye. The dancer burst into tears and said that the rhythm made him do it.

Jimmy T. is one of the ten selectable characters in the multiplayer games in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$!.

WarioWare: Twisted!

Jimmy's parents, Papa and Mama T., were introduced in WarioWare: Twisted!. They danced along with their son at Club Sugar. While the family was still on the dance floor, the club owner Sugar told the Thangs that the dinner they ordered was ready. However, instead of eating, the dancers played around with their cell phones. For instance, Jimmy's parents photographed him with their phones while he posed with the cutlery in his hands. Annoyed by that, Sugar said them that their dinner is getting cold, but the family didn't respond. Finally, the club owner told Jimmy and his parents to leave Club Sugar and closed the club.

WarioWare: Touched!

Scratchy the 'Fro Bug is ready to craze Jimmy, who dances with his family.

In WarioWare: Touched!, a speaker announced "Jimmy's Showtime" at Club Sugar. Jimmy appeared on the dance floor agaín and received the applause of the public. First, he summoned his parents, then his younger siblings Jamie and James T.. The family started choreographed dancing, though an orange bug called Scratchy the 'Fro Bug flew through Club Sugar and aimed for Jimmy's wig. It flew into the wig and disturbed Jimmy, now his afro "itched like mad". However, it seemed that the other Thangs thought that Jimmy's hectic moves were just another dance. The player had to help him by scratching the beetle with the Stylus, making it escape. After that, Jimmy continued dancing with his family and all of them took their cell phones out.

After the end of the show, the Thang family walked through the streets of Diamond City at night. Scratchy, now with a bandage on its head, reappeared and flew into Jimmy's wig. Once again, it seemed that his family thought that his fit of rage was a dance.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves

Jimmy and the Legendary Cat Dancers dancing at Club Sugar.

Jimmy was walking down to Club Sugar with an umbrella on a rainy day in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. He saw a cat which was all wet, and Jimmy decided to give the cat the umbrella. Later, the cat, along with a lot other cats, the Legendary Cat Dancers, followed Jimmy and imitated his dancing moves. Jimmy and the cats danced awhile and when they finally came to Club Sugar, Jimmy and the cats danced some more on the dance floor.

When they were done dancing, the cats walked out, each one saying "meow". Suddenly, the cat seen first gave the umbrella back to Jimmy.

At end of the story of Jimmy P., which was extremely similar to Jimmy T.'s story, Jimmy T. patted on Jimmy P.'s shoulder. The two dancers faced each other. It isn't known what happened next.

WarioWare: Snapped!

In WarioWare: Snapped!, Jimmy T. ran the newly opened Wario Park along with Wario, Mona, and Kat and Ana.

WarioWare: D.I.Y.

Jimmy starred in his own aerobics TV show called Jimmy's Aerobics in WarioWare: D.I.Y., where he was seen doing aerobics along with two women staying in the background.

Super Smash Bros. series

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Jimmy T. appears as a sticker. He also makes an appearance in the microgame "Taunt" of the WarioWare stage, where he briefly dances and poses with his cell phone.

Microgames

Jimmy T. comes with an own set of microgames in all games of the WarioWare series, except for WarioWare: Smooth Moves.

For WarioWare, Inc.: Minigame Mania, Jimmy created microgames of the Sports genre. As its name implies, all games involve some kind of sports. He also provides two remixes, meaning that he provides mixes of the microgames of other characters. WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$! does also feature Jimmy's sports microgames, plus a multiplayer game made by him, Survival Fever. Instead of sports, it features Jimmy's favorite activity, dancing.

Jimmy's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted!, involve a particular style of gameplay rather than a specific visual theme, which was also continued for the next games in the series until WarioWare: D.I.Y.. In this game, his set of microgames is called Big Tipper and requires large spins.

In WarioWare: Touched!, the name of Jimmy's set of microgames is Dance Club Rub and involves rubbing with the Stylus.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves is the only game that doesn't feature microgames of him. Instead of that, he provides a mix of microgames of other characters again, like Jimmy P. also does.

Jimmy's five microgames in WarioWare: Snapped! require the player's acting skills. He puts photos taken of the player into a comic strip after the end of his stage.

In WarioWare: D.I.Y., Jimmy returns to his original role and hosts a set of new Sports microgames again.
