Biroron (ビロロンTemplate:Refneeded, from 「ビローン」 birōn, onomatopoeia for sticking one's tongue out) are jack-in-the-box enemies encountered in the Mario Zone of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Biroron appear from certain blocks along with a single coin. After it is released, it bounces around wildly. To defeat a Biroron, Mario has to jump on its head or shoot a fireball at it.
