The Starfish, out of all the enemies in the game, is the hardest enemy to find and defeat. It appears in a specific point at each of three levels: 2-5 in [[Hoo's Wood]], 5-5 in [[Wavy Beach]], and 6-4 in [[Gleam Glacier]]. If the  specific area that it can be found in is entered, there is a low chance that it will be there. If it is not there, players can leave the place via a pipe and immediately come back, for another chance of it being there. To defeat it, players must attack it in each of these three places.

In Hoo's Woods, it swims back and forth in a shallow area of water, and eventually will jump up into the sky and leave. Players must hit it as it jumps up.
1. Go to *Hoo's Wood
Location: Second room from the start. The Starfish will be swimming on the water's shallow area. Follow his tracks, and hit him as he jumps high in the air. It will go to Gleam Glacier or Wavy Beach.

In Wavy Beach, it is asleep on the grass. The player must walk slowly up to it, then attack it, so it doesn't wake up.
2. *Wavy Beach
Location: Last room (second room after the second subrella). It will be sleeping on the grass. Walk slowly (walk holding the L button or R button). Hit it, and it will go to Gleam Glacier.

3. *Gleam Glacier
Location: Last room. The starfish will be on the ledge above the player. Even before you move, hit your gloom vibe IMMIDIATELY. Go to the right. When you're above the hill, jump towards the left (in front of the starfish. Stop your gloom vibe, then hit with Perry.

Ta-da!!! Starfish is already in your glossary!

*These locations can be shifted, but the room where it can be found won't change.

Repeat the enter-exit in the warp pipe. If you do, you might have the chance to find it.

In Gleaming Glacier, it is standing on a ledge above where the player is. It will leave after a few seconds. To reach it, players must use their Gloom vibe.

A sprite of the Starfish from Super Princess Peach.
The Starfish.

The Starfish is an elusive enemy, appearing only in Super Princess Peach. It resembles the Starkiss enemy from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and is a reference to the video game character Starfy, as the glossary describes him a a star-shaped foe rumored to be the prince of a kingdom which Starfy is, as well as running, spinning, and swimming the same as him. It is a yellow, five-pointed star. Two of its appendages appear to be legs, two are arms, and one is its head. It has pink cheeks and wears black sunglasses.

Although the Starfish neither attempts nor is able to harm Princess Peach in any way, the game describes it twice as an enemy. In the game's glossary, it is described as "a star-shaped foe rumored to be the prince of a kingdom?". Also, wherever it can be found, there is a message box stating it to be an "odd enemy".
