I'm glad more new Users like you are appearing...it makes me feel more experienced! Anyway, I'm surprised someone randomly found and read my User page...that's good of you to do. OK, about Yoshi's Island (you even read my game ratings...wow!)...the fact that your name is Yoshi-based suggests that you like Yoshi games a lot, so it was surprising to see that you disagree. So, why is 89% too high? Hey, wait...your brief message was confusing...you didn't say whether it was too low or high! Anyway, it's the only GBA game I have still kept for my DS. Challenging...the normal levels aren't that tough...I was mainly talking about getting 100% on every level...NOW THAT"S HARD! What about some of those secret/bonus levels...they're ultra-hard! ZOMG! Oh yeah, and if I had to rate Yoshi's Island DS...I'd say I didn't like it much for some reason...I haven't replayed it once since Christmas 2006, and I can't be stuffed getting 100%. The level deign isn't as good these days :(

[edit] About my sprites

Thanks for the compliment! :) Actually, they started out based on Mario and Luigi's sprites in SMW, and it took an insanely long time to get a base started (maybe TWO YEARS on-and-off), because I wanted my sprite to be taller than Mario, but shorter than Luigi. Also, there was the issue of the hair, which was insanely difficult. For the raccoon ears and tail, I took those sprites from a sheet ripped from the SMW beta. In fact... I think I forgot to credit the one who made that sheet... oops. Well, I'll fix that in a few minutes. In any case, my sprites are, to answer your question in a nutshell, a hybrid of editing and customization. *nods* Thanks again! ^_^ MelissaMarioSister
