The level starts on a mushroom with three Cheep-Cheeps circling underneath. Continuing on, the player will notice small platforms floating in the water that will serve as the ground for most of the level. However, standing on these platforms too long will cause them to sink into the water, so the player must keep moving. Eventually giant spiked balls will roll down the current which must be avoided. A small [[P-Switch]] puzzle will appear near the middle of the level. Pressing the switch will make the line of coins to the right transform into blocks and [[Koopa Troopa]]s will fall from the sky. Near the middle of the level, a Warp Pipe will take the player to a waterless area where several Pokeys reside. Their size depends on whether the player is riding Yoshi or not. After leaving this area, a small P-Switch puzzle will appear. Pressing the switch will make the line of coins to the right transform into blocks and Koopa Troopas will fall from the sky. Eventually the player will reach a Warp Pipe that leads to the exit. The Message Block there can give the player an added boost for more points.
