World 8-6 is the sixth level of World 8 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Layout
This course takes place in a volcano with rising magma. The player will have to advance upward quickly to avoid it. During the second part of the level there are pendulums that help the player keep climbing. All of the Star Coins are in plain sight. Propeller Mushrooms are the main power-up in this level.
Star Coins

The third Star Coin.
- Star Coin 1 - Use the Trampoline on the gray moving platform to reach the first Star Coin. Wait for the platform to move to the left, then quickly bounce off the Trampoline onto the ledge above. Mario can also use a Propeller Mushroom power to fly up to the Star Coin's small enclosure.
- Star Coin 2 - The second Star Coin is found in the left side of the volcano. The player needs to wall jump up to it or fly up to the Star Coin.
- Star Coin 3 - In the second section of the volcano, the player should ride the final swinging platform up to the Star Coin.
