The template uncategorized was a quick idea Porplemontage and I came up with to help us catch newly uploaded uncategorized files. The idea behind it is to not have it tag the file being uploaded (default it shows up in Special:Upload to better catch files not being categorized). I see you are now inserting the category. Just remove the template. -- 15:32, 28 October 2016 (EDT)

Names in other languages

The template you created was unnecessary; use Foreignname if you want to add names in other languages. --driftmaster130 (TalkEdits) 18:39, 10 May 2013 (EDT)

Recent edits

Hey. Most of your recent edits have been randomly removing relevant pictures from galleries. Do not do this, those images can be in those galleries, as they showcase the subject and that is what the gallery is intended for. Yoshi876 (talk)

Those images were unnecessary or just shit. If they never existed, they would have never been there. Ask me before reverting all those edits, I spent a lot of time on it

Fact is, they were uploaded and they're there now. There's no point in removing them, seeing as they are entirely relevant to that page and gallery. Yoshi876 (talk)

It's just that people don't trust in this wiki because of its quality. Anyone can upload their own images, and that's what makes this wiki worse than it could be.
Only autoconfirmed users can upload images. And the majority of images uploaded are for the Mario series (and the ones that aren't are tagged as personal images), that's why the images were uploaded. The wiki gets better because we have images of things in articles, not worse. Yoshi876 (talk)

Mvsdk artworks

It doesn't mean that I will not upload them in the future. Also, sometimes there are people who want add then, also, the images don't need to be added to the gallery instantly because I uploaded them. Hope you understand User:Ashley anEoTselkie/sig

Image Uploading

 • For future reference, whenever you're uploading an image for a certain game, please remember to add the game category that it belongs to. For example, all Yoshi's Woolly World images need to have the category added onto them. On an additional note, please remember to add the licensing onto your uploaded images. RedYoshiMK7Signature.png M&SG (talk) 11:54, 6 April 2015 (EDT)

Panel giro?

Hey there! Do you have any reference for this Spanish translation you added? Thanks!

Oh yeah. I saw it in the official Nintendo of Spain games guides site. http://www.guiasnintendo.com/0a_NINTENDO_3DS/super_mario_3d_land/super_mario_3d_land_sp/objetos.html Sorry for the late answer. Really. Really. Late. --Sergio-Yoshi (talk) 19:01, 10 August 2016 (EDT)

Image Category Reminder

Hello, Sergio-Yoshi. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:

Images Audio/video files

When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the aboutfile template, replacing the uncategorized template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use:

or

Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

File:PMCS Marmalade Valley.png was missing Category:Paper Mario: Color Splash Images along with a license tag (game-screenshot in this case). Be sure to select the appropriate license when uploading. There should be a drop-down below the box you type in a description (where aboutfile is loaded for you). --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 20:28, 5 October 2016 (EDT)

Warning.svg
This is a warning to stop your inappropriate behavior on the Super Mario Wiki. Please adhere to the rules or you will be blocked from editing this site.
If you feel this warning was undeserved, you may appeal it.

You did this again with File:RoshamboTemple.png and File:Goomba Wheels.png. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:03, 10 October 2016 (EDT)

Are you idiot or something? Who do you think you are? I don't understand what you mean at all, I AM CONTRIBUTING to improve the wiki, I'm not a vandal -_- If you feel so cool, upload yourself some files --Sergio-Yoshi (talk) 17:22, 10 October 2016 (EDT)
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Never said you were a vandal. No need to get hostile here. This was just to enforce rules, which you probably weren't aware of how we specifically do things here. The warning was issued because I didn't think you acknowledged you did something wrong or were ignoring me. I was just trying to make sure you are aware of categorization policy, which you seem to be because you did what was asked with File:PMCS Shunned Guy.png today. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 20:12, 21 October 2016 (EDT)
I got pretty rude sorry :/ At least now I finally know what I was doing wrong, I didn't understand what I was (not) doing. I'm not an expert on the Internet and English isn't my native language. I hope that's all I have to write when uploading a file.--Sergio-Yoshi (talk) 20:18, 21 October 2016 (EDT)
For the record, I believe giving you a warning is harsh when an official reminder would have done instead. BabyLuigiFire.png Ray Trace(T|C) 20:38, 21 October 2016 (EDT)
That was done. It was ignored. That's why the warning was issued. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 21:24, 21 October 2016 (EDT)
