A new namespace?

Hello there! I still see here on the wiki some forum comments on game articles' respective talk pages. Instead of forcing to join the forums, I suggest the creation of a new namespace called "Game talk" where users who don't have a forum account or are forbidden to create one can talk about recently released and old games, freely. I think it would be a nice alternative to non-forum users. Waiting for an answer soon! --NewSMBU (talk) 07:29, 8 August 2012 (EDT)

Interesting idea, but the focus of the wiki should always be the encyclopedia. --Steve (talk) Get Firefox 08:26, 8 August 2012 (EDT)
Thanks anyways. --NewSMBU (talk) 11:41, 8 August 2012 (EDT)

Already taken care of. Not sure if the block length should be extended or left as one month... Mario (Gold) costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC

Aboutfile made default in upload summary

Hello,

I run another wiki (PidgiWiki, a catalog of video game artwork), and I've been trying to figure out how to make an information template default in the upload summary, as is done here with {{aboutfile}}. Is this possible by simply editing MediaWiki files, or is there custom code at work? Would you mind sharing how to do this? Thank you so much!--Immewnity (talk) 11:44, 26 August 2012 (EDT)

It's done through JavaScript here. You can see the code in the bottom-half of MediaWiki:Common.js and apply it to your own MediaWiki:Common.js. --Steve (talk) Get Firefox 11:49, 26 August 2012 (EDT)
Alright, cool. Thank you!--Immewnity (talk) 12:01, 26 August 2012 (EDT)
