Attemps to revamp FA nominations

First bunch of ideas

Article nomination stuff

  1. To nominate an article to be featured, put {{FASTAT}} at the top of an article (so nothing changed). New page, blah blah.
  2. In the new page, you should put in the "Support" section at least 3 valid reasons for why it should be a FA.
  3. Other votes may have other reasons for why the article should be Featured, though it's optional. Supporters should be aware of the rules from FAing.
  4. Opposers must bring at least one reason for why not FAing an article. "Per <name>" votes may be removed at admins' will.
  5. In the comments sections everyone can discute about the situations and the problems and anything else regarding the article.
  6. IP can't vote. (old news)

Featured Articles Important Reviewers (FAIR) stuff

  1. A team of from 3 to 8 people can be elected as FAIR. Their work is to review an article while it's in FA state.
  2. 2 temporary members (who may do 1 to 4 reviews before quitting) may be elected.
  3. FAIRs should be aware of the nominations and be active enough to check every day.
  4. FAIRs who didn't made an edit within a week are bumped out from the team unless they explain why they weren't active.
  5. A review of the article should be made within two weeks of the nomination. If it isn't made within then, nothing would happen, though a reminder about it may be given.
  6. The scale of rating is similar, if not equal, to PAIR's one.
  7. If the vote of any review is not better than 15.0, the nomination may fail even 5-0. Likewise, if two or more reviews have a score greater or equal than 19.5, the nomination may pass ASAP.

Projects Examples

Headers are different, they shouldn't be changed in the article. Usually, they should be two lower than here (4 being 2), unless notated.

Rewrite Mario Party boards - succesfully approved

Template:Board-infobox

“Here in the jungle stand the mysterious ruins. Rumor has it that a great treasure is hidden here. If you look for this treasure, surely one of you will find it.”
Koopa Troopa, Mario Party

DK's Jungle Adventure is Donkey Kong's board in Mario Party. It is the first board overall and one of the two to have only 1 Star of difficulty, the other being Mario's Rainbow Castle.
The players must find a "treasure" in the ancient ruins, as Koopa says. However, the chest needs a key to be opened, and the characters start the confront to decide who can try to open the chest.
At the end of the game, the winning player's stars join together to form a large star that flies over to the stone chest located at the upper-left hand corner of the board. The star acts as a key, opening the chest, and revealing the ancient treasure: a Golden Banana Bunch. The winning player is rewarded with the bananas, while the players in second and third place, in addition to Toad, Koopa, Boo, a Whomp, and the large star all accompany them in the winner's circle. The player that came in fourth place is chased down the board by the rolling boulder.

Layout

The board is well know to have multiple paths that leads to the start: however, the player must pay or have a certain number of Coins to pass. It also have multiple Happening Spaces spread in all the board.

Events

If the player pass near a Whomp, they is gives the possibility to pay 10 Coins to pass on the side of the road that the Whomp is blocking. By doing so, the Whomp moves and blockes the other path. The player can even not pay and proceed to the free road. There are 3 Whomps on the board.
There are two Coin Stones that block a path. However, they cann't move and lets the player pass only if the player have 20 Coins. If this happens, the stone hides, letting the player to choose the path. Unlike the Whomps, the player don't need to pay to pass.
There are 9 Happening Spaces. If the player lands on one of these spaces, a rolling boulder starts to roll from the upright corner, passes over the pifall and changes dirction (from left to down) by hitting an hazard. Then it exits by a path that the players cann't take. Bowser will be on a stone, watching. If someone is on the rolling boluder's path, they'll run until they'll reach the southern bridge, that they'll take to prevent get hitted by the boulder.
Bowser is behind a Coin Stone. If the player passes by, Bowser forces they to buy an useless Golden Bowser Statuette for 10 Coins.

Space counter

Actually, it's better to move it in the respective game's Spaces section (or the most similar) by organized a table.
EXAMPLE (for Mario Party) (table border and format can be changed):

Mario Party Blue Spaces Red Spaces Happening Space Mini-Game Spaces Mushroom Spaces Chance Spaces Bowser Spaces
DK's Jungle Adventure
Peach's Birthday Cake
Yoshi's Tropical Island
Wario's Battle Canyon
Luigi's Engine Room
Mario's Rainbow Castle
Bowser's Magma Mountain
Eternal Star

Quotes

  • "Supposedly, there is treasure hidden somewhere in the ruins. Do you really think so?"
  • "Rumor has it that the treasure is a banana made of gold. Did you know that?"
  • "The ruin has many traps set in it, so be careful."
  • "Be courageous, don't let the traps get you, and keep on searching. Surely, the treasure can be found."
  • "You need a "key" to find the treasure, but where is the "key" to be found?"
  • "It's just a hunch, but doesn't the stone coffin above the altar look a little strange? Doesn't it?"
