You've reached my profile page on the Super Mario Wiki! If you wish to chat with me about my interests listed here, please do so on the talk page. Thanks!

Greetings, everyone! The name is M. C. -- Merit Celaire! I'm new on the scene in the Mario Wiki community because I've a dedicated Mario game series fan from day one! I'm grateful to snag the opportunity to help this place out by adding/editing info while at the same time making sure it's accurate for everyone. Let's just say some friends from other places "convinced" me to trust this Wiki site as well as join in on adding to that trust.

Supporting the Mario Series' Gals Full Force!

Granted, I like all of the Mario series' characters and the entire series itself. However, it's double that or more in terms of the Mario series' gal participants! You see, for most of my login sessions to Super Mario Wiki (and related cases in general here), I'll be focusing on sharing knowledge and making sure facts are straight about the majority of our beautiful, awesome, and energetic girls of the Mario series. First priority is making sure that this is the case for the "main gals":

And the next priorty is checking out and modifying info (when necessary) for these "secondary gals":

  • NOTE ABOUT MERELDA: Although she's actually from the Wario Land: Shake It! game, she still counts for the "secondary target" list since the Wario Land series were actually branched off the Super Mario Land installments for the original Game Boy/Color and Game Boy Advance.

Why Keep Tabs On And Support the Gals?

Okay, now I know you're asking, "M. C.? Why dedicate your support on this Wiki to sharing knowledge and making sure details are true about these gals in the Mario series?" I'm glad you asked.

Peach in the opening for Mario Super Sluggers; on the "fielding end".

Reason number 1: It's a definite fact that if it weren't the main five gals (Peach, Daisy, Toadette, Birdo, and Rosalina) participating, we wouldn't even have a "Mario Game Series" to begin with, period!

Daisy in the opening for Mario Super Sluggers; "demonstrating" the Wii Remote gameplay for it.

Reason number 2: In spinoff installments, they show no mercy in making sure they look and play their best - and for me, it's an honor to represent them in any way I can. They are #1, hands down! The "gal involvement" and our representation opportunity reached its prime during the Gamecube Mario spinoff games, and the bar has already been raised in the Wii Mario spinoff games -- so I and other "Mario Gals" fans expect nothing less.

And speaking of which, I'm happy to hear that our two lead gals -- Peach and Daisy -- are going to be represented extremely well for Mario Super Sluggers. There are more questions that still need to be answered on this front on how we are going to represent them in the game itself, but optimism is very high on this front. Same goes for Toadette, Birdo -- and the super adorable baby counterparts, Baby Peach and Baby Daisy. Here's hoping we'll see them all again in future spinoff installments after this one!

Mario Series' Installments I'm Keeping Tabs On (Or "Targeting")

Well, great news -- as of October 6, 2008 I finally have a Nintendo Wii system. Now comes the grueling task of getting the Mario series' games I am seriously missing out on (which are listed below). In the meantime, I have been keeping tabs on Mario series installments that have been released, or are yet to be released (especially in terms of game media itself, hoping that I can still update this Wiki with confirmed facts). I'll sort the games that I'm looking out for, in terms of priority.

HIGH PRIORITY: Mario Super Sluggers, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Nintendo Wii Version), Super Mario Galaxy
MEDIUM PRIORITY: Mario Party 8, Mario Strikers Charged, Wario Land: Shake It!
LOW PRIORITY: Mario & Luigi RPG 3

Keeping Close Watch On Info Regarding Mario Super Sluggers

At this time, I've been keeping tabs on editing and/or adding info in regards to Mario Super Sluggers. So far, I've managed to do the following:

  • Recategorize the main artworks section for that article.
  • Add in an article focusing on the Baseball Kingdom locale.
  • Started an article focusing on the 4 Challenge Mode Cutscenes, which has now been merged with the main Mario Super Sluggers article (located here); the majority said it was better this way. And it makes sense now because of getting confirmed info about how this part of the game works.
  • Added and/or modified information on the gal participants for this game from NOA's official online card website in relation to it.

I'm Just Getting Started!

Obviously, I'm just getting started in regards to the ins and outs of handing the Super Mario Wiki; but I'm hoping that my Mario series' expertise will come in handy (overall, of course - but once again, for the gal characters in this series, it's double!) As for me, in regards to posting and editing information on this Wiki, it'll still be in terms of standards, but you'll still encounter my full enthusiam here on this userpage and on the related talk page. Take care, everyone; and I'll see you around on the Super Mario Wiki!
