Goombario is a young Goomba from Goomba Village and Mario's self-proclaimed biggest fan. Very eager to impress his idol, he joins Mario immediately after his grandfather Goompa requests it.
Goombario can be asked for information about the area he and Mario are standing in at the time. If used while facing someone else, Goombario will share his knowledge or impression of the character.
