Ultra is usually the highest, most powerful, or best rank, type of mushroom, or upgrade commonly found in the Mario RPG's. Ultra could refer to;
- Ultra Rank, the highest rank available for a partner in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
- Ultra Boots, the most powerful upgrade to the Boots found in both the Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario series.
- Ultra Hammer, the most powerful upgrade to the Hammer found in both the Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario series.
- Ultra Shroom, an item that restores 50 HP, the most HP that could be restored using a single item in each game, found in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
- Ultra Shroom Shake, an item very similar to the Ultra Shroom, which also restores 50 HP, found in Super Paper Mario.
- Honey Ultra, a recipe made by either Tayce T. or Zess T. in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, respectively.
- Maple Ultra, a recipe made by either Tayce T. or Zess T. in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, respectively.
