It is considered one of the hardest levels in the game because of the lack of ground to stand on and the large amount of enemies. The first part of the level is a series of pipes of various lengths, with Jumping Piranha Plants and Chargin' Chucks trying to block Mario's way. After this area, there are three P-Balloons that Mario must get in order to cross a very wide pit. It is still very hard to do so, as the player must dodge a multitude of enemies, including the countless fire balls spat by Volcano Lotuses. After the level is completed, the player is given the option to save.
Trivia
- In the unreleased game Super Mario's Wacky Worlds, the title "Tubular" would have referred to a collection of three worlds.
