A Trumpet Plant is a type of species of plants that are found in during the events of Paper Mario. These plants are commonly only grown and found in Lavalava Island. Mario encounters these plants after the five Baby Yoshis went to play Hide ‘n’ Seek into the deep jungle during the events of Chapter 5. When Mario attempts to examine or whack one of them with his Hammer, the plant will blow out air like a Trumpet. The plant will normally shoot out some Coins and sometimes, Star Shards when the Plant blows out air like a Trumpet. They're basically useless except for nice scenery.
