The Beach Cannon is a secret area in the game Super Mario Sunshine. The only time the player can get in the Cannon is in episode two of Pinna Park. Unlike other secret areas, the player must defeat a Monty Mole that is shooting Bullet Bills and throwing Bob-ombs. After the Monty Mole is defeated, Mario can enter the secret area which is filled with disappearing Blocks. There are also some Strollin' Stus and 1-Up Mushrooms.

This secret area has disappearing blocks that turn black before completely vanishing. They return after two seconds or so. This means that if Mario falls in the bottomless pit, he loses a life. After getting through the green ones, there are two ways, one with the Yoshi Blocks and one with other disappearing blocks. The Yoshi Blocks leads to Strollin' Stus and a graffiti resembling one to create some infinitely (until Mario sprays water on it). The bouncing platforms leads to a ledge above to more platforming. Those blocks disappear quicker, are red, and are longer, too. There is a 1-Up on the corner of the before-last block. The player must get to the end to reach the Shine Sprite. There is also a Red Coin Mission here if the player returns here after collecting the Shine Sprite first.
