:::I agree that this should be deleted. They don't serve any purpose except act as simple moving platforms. There are also dancing mushroom platforms, see-saw platforms, bouncy platforms, moving platforms controlled by the player etc., all of which are mentioned in their respective articles of the stages in which they appeared. Sure, they're based on real-life sculptures, but I don't see a reason to create an article on platforms that simply sink or fall in quicksand which are better off mentioned in the article of the stage they appear in. {{user:Mario jc/sig}}

I think this page should be deleted. They're just generical platforms without even a name (and most likely an official name will never be created). It's like creating a page for the totems in New Super Mario Bros. 2 World 2-2 or the bony platforms in New Super Mario Bros. Wii/2. Difference is, these platforms have different traits, appearances and functions. They also kind of count as living, too. DonnyKD (talk) 13:13, 19 September 2012 (EDT)

I agree that this should be deleted. They don't serve any purpose except act as simple moving platforms. There are also dancing mushroom platforms, see-saw platforms, bouncy platforms, moving platforms controlled by the player etc., all of which are mentioned in their respective articles of the stages in which they appeared. Sure, they're based on real-life sculptures, but I don't see a reason to create an article on platforms that simply sink or fall in quicksand which are better off mentioned in the article of the stage they appear in. I think it should be merged with the level articles for their respective games.
