::You made a valid point and I do believe this game is connected to the WarioWare series. I have seen footage and this game now and it does work different from WarioWare. For the way it looks, minigames are longer now and the player has to get a certain score to win that game. A higher score is better of course. Every minigame has a WarioWare character featuring it. You are right that games in the same series don't need the same format (Mario Party 9 is a great example), however the question is: when is a game still part of it's series. Is Game & Wario still a full part of the WarioWare series or is it a spin-off. Since this game does not (yet?) include WarioWare in the title and has a different format, this game looks more like a spin-off from WarioWare than a new installment of the series. However, new series or not, the article says this game has microgames, however I haven't seen any yet. If Game & Wario is indeed a direct part of the WarioWare series, it is at least a non-standard one. BTW here is footage of the [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mi9W6aIcMyc Skiing game] . More footage can already be found on Youtube. {{User:Arend/sig}}

I wanted to list my speculation on the minigames that may be in game and wario from what I see on the japanese website and I think here is the best place to put it so here we go. 3, 2, 1, Go! (Also note that this is only by screenshots and icons I have seen)
The minigame called "Sketch" has to be none other than a minigame based on the classic game Pictionary, except that you don't play it on a board.
The minigame "Disco" looks like some kind of rhythm game where one player does a rhythm while the other repeats it but there might be more to this one. It kind of reminds me of the 2 player boxing minigame in rhythm heaven fever.
The 6th minigame on the chart looks like it may be some sort of platformer since it shows young cricket jumping on the icon. If so I think it may be similar to bit trip. runner or 2 fast 4 knomz.
The minigame "Puzzle" may be something similar to "It's Mr. Pants" but it may be about putting a amount of different given pieces together to form a shape of an object
The 11th minigame on the chart seems like it wll be some type of driving game. Maybe it will a minigame similar to crazy taxi but if not, it could be similar to the microgame [[Driver's Ed (WarioWare: Smooth Moves)|"Driver's Ed".]]
The 13th minigame on the chart could be some broom riding game where you dodge obstacles and use magic to battle some monster or something but we can only wait and see.
Ok! The 14th minigame on the chart is none other than *sigh*... Pyoro or [[Bird & Beans|"Bird and Beans". No really, it is actually a minigame in this game, just look a the chart on the japanese website. Even though this is getting redundant in warioware at least they always bring something new to the table for every wario ware game. I speculate that this minigame will be similar to arrow but different. I think it will be a minigame where you aim and pull Pyoro's back and let go on the gamepad so he can eat bugs (or beans) on the TV screen. The 15th minigame is just bowling!! I hope they do something innovative to this minigame because it looks like it's just going to be some generic bowling game where you just flick your finger or stylus on the gamepad to roll the bowling ball. You may wonder why I didn't say anything about the fronk minigame, well that's because I am totally clueless of what it could be.
Well that's my speculation folks, if you have any speculations of your own or have any opinions on mine, feel free to post them. Also I may be doing another speculation shorter than this one sometime soon and maybe tomorrow.

WarioWare installment?

Are we sure this is really the 9th WarioWare? Isn't it some sort of spin-off from the WarioWare series. According to the E3-page, it is a collection of games and they are as wacky as the WarioWare microgames. But is this really the next WarioWare or is it something new? To me, this game looks like a whole bunch of minigames instead of a whole bunch of microgames. On top of that, none of these games show the WarioBomb timer in the lower part of the screen. The skiing minigame even shows a timer with 0:13:568, which is obviously above the time limit of a usual WarioWare microgame (5 seconds). The Game & Wario article now says this game is the 9th WarioWare installment and that it has microgames, but can we really confirm it? ArendLogoTransparent.pngrend (talk) (edits)

Does the game really need the exact same format as the other games to be a sequel? From what I can gather from the images, it has enough points of resemblance (Wario wearing his WarioWare outfit, Joe the Reporter showing up, the microgames) that, yes, it is an installment in the WarioWare series.
