May I ask where in any official content was a difference recognized between these and normal Thwomps? ~Uniju(T-C-E)
- Possibly the Official Nintendo Player's Guide - they list all the enemies in front. I don't have it, but if someone else does could they confirm this? That's the only source I know that lists all the official names of the game's enemies. -- Son of Suns (talk)

- I have the guide and I can confirm they do give they do call the Big Thwomp "Super Thwomp". --Blitzwing 16:09, 17 December 2008 (EST)

- They are called "Super Thwomp" in Super Mario Maker, though. But if "Big Thwomp" is the most recent name, then yes it should be moved as per policy.
