The Swap Card was an item in Mario Party 4 that allowed the user to swap items with an opponent randomly chosen. This was the replacement for the Barter Box, although not considered a better version, for the Barter box let players choose who they would exchange items with. The design for the card was later used for the item Point Swap in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
