The Rolling Coaster Galaxy is one of the many galaxies found in Super Mario Galaxy 2.
The stage is like a roller coaster and the player must roll a Star Ball to the end. Many Starshrooms appear along the way.
A bit in the stage, the path splits to two. "Experts go right!", states one of the Toads. On the purple coins mission, the path for experts is the only path to go.
The Prankster Comet is the Purple Comet, but the player has only 2 minutes to collect 100 coins, and the stage contains only 110 coins, including one in the Star Ball instead of a Star.

- It has Super Mario 64's The Princess's Secret Slide stage music.
- The levels include the phrase Rainbow Road which is the name of many different races in the Mario Kart series.
