| When Lucas walks alone in [[The Ruined Zoo]], [[The Pig King Statue|a giant statue of Porky Minch]] appears and begins chasing him through the zoo, attempting to crush him. At the end of the scene, Lucas gets his leg stuck under a root and is about to be hit by the Statue, when Ness appears to Lucas's rescue, destroying the statue by using [[Ness#PK Thunder|PK Thunder]] and [[PK Flash]]. It reveals Porky inside his spider-like bed machine, and the boys battle him. Ness and Lucas defeat Porky and destroy the machine. His appearance in ''Super Smash Bros. Brawl'' is outside the ''Mother'' series' canon.
