Pokey Mummies are undead Pokeys that extremely resemble Poison Pokeys. Pokey Mummies also fight like Poison Pokeys, having the ability to poison Mario and his friends. Nonetheless, the two are a different species. Pokey Mummies only appear in Paper Mario, and are found inside coffins in Dry Dry Ruins. Although these resemble coffins, there is a possibility that they are sarcophagi (just to avoid confusion). The Pokey Coffin has a face much like a Mummy Pokey itself.
Trivia
- A Pokey known as Mummipokey appears as a boss in New Super Mario Bros.; despite having a name similar to Pokey Mummy, Mummipokey doesn't resemble one at all.
