A Pickup (or Girder Pickups) is a special type of item in Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!. They appear as small pieces of ladders, conveyors, and girders. Pickups are semi-common, but they are vital to complete levels. When a certain kind of pickup is collected, the number of girders, conveyors, or ladders increases by one, allowing the player to build longer pathways for the Mini Marios.
