Peach Parasol (move)
Peach Parasol is Peach's up special move in Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. It serves as a recovery move as well as doing small amounts of damage. She leaps up into the air, holding her Parasol and damages any opponents on contact. It hits opponents several times in a jump. Once her parasol opens, she starts gliding. The parasol can damage enemies on contact with it when Peach glides. Futhermore, Peach can close her parasol to fall quickly and reopen it at any time during flight. The parasol in Super Smash Bros. Melee is white, and the parasol in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U is pink.
In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, Peach Parasol can be customized to one of two custom variants, provided that they are found first. Parasol High Jump deals no damage, but has a higher jump into the air. Light Parasol lacks vertical recovery in the initial jump, but opening the parasol lifts Peach higher.
The Peach Parasol in Super Smash Bros. Melee is Peach's traditional parasol. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, the parasol is an exact replica of its appearance in Super Paper Mario.
