Template:Minigame-infobox Limbo Dance is a single-player minigame found in Mario Party.

Introduction

A Toad is shown playing a tribal drum set in a nighttime forest. The scene zooms out to reveal the player as the game begins.

Gameplay

The player has to limbo under all the Limbo Sticks (of varying heights, color-coded by difficulty) in 30 seconds.

Blue sticks are the tallest and easiest, then yellow, and finally red, which can be very tricky. Press A Button to move the player forward and make them bend backwards a little; pressing the button too fast will cause them to bend too far back and fall down, losing the game. Pressing the button too slowly will also make the player lose, because they will stand all the way up and not pass under the limbo stick. If the player does reach the end, they win ten coins.

Ending

If the player makes it across the finish line, they do a winning pose. If they lose, they fall on their back and shake their legs trying to get up. Alternately, if they're standing up, they fall over.

Controls

  • A Button – Lean Back Jump Forward

In-game text
