Gunship

The Gunship is Samus's personal spacecraft. It appears as a trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and from the same game, has a cameo in the Subspace Emissary. When the Subspace Gunship destroys the Halberd, the Gunship, along with the Falcon Flyer, Hocotate Ship, an Arwing, and a Dragoon with Kirby on top escape the explosion, and attack the Subspace Gunship. The Gunship also appears in Nintendo Land in the event Metroid Blast. During the event, the player controls their Mii dressed as Samus, using the Gunship to shoot several mechanical enemies. In the multiplayer mode in Metroid Blast, the player using the gamepad will take control of the Gunship and either attacks or works alongside the other Miis walking on the ground.

Of course, Samus can't fly it into the catacombs of every planet she visits, so she leaves it on the surface as her sanctuary. Samus can recharge her Power Suit inside the ship, so it tends to be the only safe and secure spot on inhospitable alien terrain.

Gunship		SNES Super Metroid GCN Metroid Prime 2: Echoes	The ship that Samus pilots. Entering the gunship allows Samus to restore energy and save. Samus has been on numerous voyages in the gunship, but after being attacked by an X parasite in Metroid Fusion, she crashes into an asteroid belt and destroys the craft. After that, the Galactic Federation provides her with a new starship.

Trivia

• The Gunship appears as a station in the 2010 version of Nintendo Monopoly (although going by its Metroid Prime 3: Corruption design). It takes the place of Pennsylvania Railroad, originally held by the Blue Falcon in the 2006 version, and costs $200.
