Gulpits are large, purple beasts with rather long pink tongues that are found in the icy Shiver region. They defend themselves by picking up stones in their mouths, and spitting them back out at the offender. Mario encountered Gulpits on Shiver Mountain and in Shiver Snowfield during the events of Paper Mario.
