The Super Mario meets Gelato Pique collection was launched in 2021. In Japan, pre-orders for the products in this collection began on September 13, 2021 while regular orders became available on September 17, 2021.[3] In the United States, the collection went on sale on October 22, 2021 at 12:00 (EST).[4]

In 2022, Gelato Pique updated the Super Mario meets Gelato Pique lineup with an assortment of Yoshi-themed products, titled the Colorful Yoshi Collection. It was launched on April 25, 2022 in Japan[9] and will be launched at the beginning of June 2022 in the United States, with pre-orders for the latter region having begun on May 21, 2022.[10]
