Emergency Hexit
Template:Minigame-infobox Emergency Hexit (Chain Challenge in Europe and Australia) is a puzzle minigame in Mario Party: Island Tour. The North American name is a reference to "emergency exit."
Gameplay
The player has to slide hexagons with character's Emblems on them before a timer runs out. If seven of the same hexagon type are touching, they will be cleared with points rewarded as well as the remaining time increasing. Also, there are hexagons with Green Shells that appear. If the character that the player chose is next to one, they will kick it across the hexagons, knocking them out. There are Poison Mushrooms that make the timer run out faster as well. They can be removed by clearing hexagons next to it or by using a shell. Finally, ? tiles are exclusive to multiplayer mode, and they can send a poison mushroom to the opposing player.

- Single player rules – NA "Clear as many tiles as possible by sliding them to line up 6 or more similar designs. Move shells to the edge for extra help, and remove Poison Mushrooms by clearing an adjacent tile."
- Single player rules – PAL "Line up 6 or more panels with the same design to clear a group. Move Shells to either side for extra help. Get rid of Poison Mushrooms by clearing a panel adjacent to them."
- Multiplayer rules – NA "Clear as many tiles as possible by sliding them to line up 6 or more similar designs. Move shells to the edge for extra help, and remove Poison Mushrooms by clearing an adjacent tile. Clearing a ? tile will send a Poison Mushroom to your opponent!"
